Who is she?

Jenny is a Brooklyn-based writer and performer whose work has been featured in The New Yorker, Reductress, and Vulture. She studied improv and sketch at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, where she wrote and performed on house teams (Maude and Lloyd). She performs regularly with Asian AF, with whom she headlined the Steelstacks Improv Festival and the Asian Comedy Festival.

Desperate for human connection during the pandemic, she began filming her sketches and posting them on social media. In 2022, she was chosen by New York Comedy Festival as a Content Creator to Watch.

She is the co-host of the podcast Asian Not Asian, where she discusses everything from her Asian American identity to her emotional spirals.

Jenny is a graduate of UC Berkeley. She is a big fan of getting her aura read in Chinatown and stating confidently that she doesn’t believe in “that stuff,” while secretly thinking it’s all real. Her main goal in life is to be Sophia Petrillo from The Golden Girls.
